ICCD was one of the initial Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) providers in New York City. We were awarded the first contract for UPK in New York City and our proud to have been providing this service to the community every year since the program has been founded.
For the 2010-2011 School year, we have been awarded contract in both our Bayside location (35-55 223rd street) and our newly renovated Rego Park location (98-02 62nd Drive).
UPK services are provided free of charge to parents. It is a half-day program. Parents have the option of "wrap around" service, which allows a child to attend ICCD for the full day, with UPK covering costs for half the day and families paying for the other half of the day.
